Make a Choice

Surely, we all know those moments where a group decision needs to be made, like choosing where to go for a drink, or what to have for dinner and the same sentences are thrown around.

“I don’t mind”
“It’s up to you”
“Anything is fine by me”

For some reason, we turn one small decision into a whole mental debate. In fact, there are several reasons for it.

“What if they don’t like what I choose”
“I don’t want to be the one responsible”
“I wanna be easy going”

This issue can translate into our daily choices as well; our intuition is overridden and we can’t make immediate decisions. When the outcome isn’t guaranteed, we often avoid choosing altogether. We wait, ask someone else, or keep looking for the “right” answer.

In this workshop, we want to get to the bottom of this. You will explore what makes you hesitate, as well as practice choosing without overthinking, in your own way. Because choosing doesn’t always need to be that deep.

Sometimes, you choose to simply find out.

F*ck it – Time Capsule

On September 2nd, we’re coming together at Experiment Art Cafe for our first community meeting of the new season. We’ll take some time to look back at the past year and summer, reflect together on what we’ve experienced as a community, and open up a conversation about where we want to go next.

The evening will also be a moment to think about your own goals. Through a series of questions, we’ll explore what you would like to work towards, what might be holding you back, and what realistic steps could help you get there. Along the way, we’ll share practical tips on maintaining momentum, breaking goals down into manageable steps, and supporting each other in the process. And, of course, we’ll finish the evening with some drinks and time to hang out together.

FAQ

Who are the events for?

Anyone. You don't need to be in a specific program, have a certain background, or know anyone. If you're curious, you're in.

What actually happens at a ProjectU event?

Not a lecture. Expect some exercise, small group conversations, and something that makes you think about something you've been avoiding. You'll leave with something concrete, not just inspiration.

Is it free?

Most events are free. If there's a small contribution, it's always listed on the event page.

Can I come alone?

Yes, most people do. You'll be talking to someone new within the first thirty minutes.

I went to an event, what's next?

Join the community. That's where the real stuff continues between events: accountability, connection, and the next step if you want to go deeper.
